Arriving from Pearson International Airport:
Bus Shuttle Airport Express is approximately $17 one-way, or $30 return. After arriving in downtown Toronto, get off at the Bus Terminal. From the Bus terminal, the Inn is a short taxi ride or alternatively a 10-15 minute walk.
Public Transit- Look for the directions to the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission). Hop on the 192 Red Rocket to Kipling subway station. Take the eastbound train to the University/Bloor station stop and transfer to the University subway line southbound. Get off at the St. Patrick subway station and follow signs to Dundas St. west, walking in the direction of the Art Gallery of Ontario for 3 blocks to McCaul St. Turn right on McCaul St. for 2 blocks to Baldwin St. Cost for the TTC is approximately $2.75 per ride.
Taxi or Limousine Service- As you walk out of the baggage claim area of the terminal, immediately outside are a taxi and limousine stand. Cost is from $46 to $50 - fixed rates.
Car- If driving from the airport, take Hwy 427 South to the QEW which becomes the Gardiner Expressway. Take the Gardiner Expressway East to Toronto. Exit on Spadina St. and drive North to Queen St. Turn right on Queen St., and left on Beverley St. and then right on Baldwin St. (6 blocks from Queen St.)
Driving to Toronto via the 401 Westbound:
Take the Don Valley Parkway south exit. Exit Bloor St. off the DVP and drive west on Bloor St. to St. George St. past Avenue Rd. Turn left on St. George through the University of Toronto campus. St. George becomes Beverley St. after College St. Turn left on Baldwin St. (make sure to make a full stop on the stop sign, police strictly enforce the 4 way stop at the intersection).
Driving to Toronto via the 401 Eastbound:
Take Hwy 427 south exit to the QEW to Toronto which becomes the Gardiner Expressway. Exit on Spadina St. and drive North to Queen St. Turn right on Queen St. and then left on Beverley St to Baldwin St. (6 blocks from Queen St.). Turn right on Baldwin St. (make sure to make a full stop on the stop sign, police strictly enforce the 4 way stop at the intersection).
Train - Union Station:
Transfer to the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) University Line and get off on St. Patrick subway station. Follow the exit signs to Dundas St. West. Walk to McCaul St. (3 blocks) and take a right, and then turn left on Baldwin. (Walk from subway line is 5 to 10 minutes). Cost for the TTC is $2.75 per person.
Bus Station (Greyhound):
10 minutes, take Dundas St. West past University to McCaul St. Turn right on McCaul and then left on Baldwin St.
There are many large parking lots around the corner on McCaul St. Upon arrival at the Inn, drop off your luggage and then park. We will be happy to assist you with your luggage.
While Toronto is a safe place, we ask that our guests remove all items of value from their vehicle, including luggage, shopping bags, coins, sunglasses, and other personal effects. Baldwin Village Inn is not responsible for lost or stolen items from your vehicle. If you are renting a vehicle, we recommend you insure it against such losses.
